Unions are in bold, and groups that increased donations are in green.
SEIU donated only $75,000 – perhaps they had cashed out their coffers during March and April.
The Plumbers/Pipefitters Union continues to be a big player, having donated $371,764.
The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers was knocked off from May’s chart, but made a return onto June’s chart with donations of $1,471,688 since they were on the list back in March.
The American Federation of Teachers gave $57,591.
The American Federation of State/County/Municipal Employees gave a mere $28,295.
The Sheet Metal Workers Union has returned to the list, with donations of at least $221,200 since March.
Rounding out the list, the Ironworkers Union gave only $78,487.
A rather low month for our union “buddies,” eh? They only gave $2,304,025 this month – extremely low compared to the previous two months, when they had donated $9,886,925.
This rounds out the total donations given by the unions that I have charted to be roughly $16,479,776. Bear in mind that since I don’t have the complete numbers to work with, I’m basing this off of the threshold for making the top-20 list shown above (as in, I have to subtract the threshold from donations each month). What really counts, however, is that union leaders are using members’ money to donate in massive amounts. Knowing how unions donate almost always to Democrats, well, this is unsettling.
