The “no-no” word, Profit.

For the first time in American history the word “profit” is becoming a pejorative, largely due to the ever increasing animosity of the American people against the fat-cat Wall-Street Executives and the lavish lifestyles of the Rich. But how did this deep division arise in in the Union where even our seal boldly states “E Pluribus unum” (“Out of many, one”)?

Economic turbulence is one reason many scholars and social scientists offer to explain this lack of unity in the nation, but I believe this hostility was greatly exacerbated by the vitriolic rhetoric spouted by the Liberal base. It is their entire goal to pit one group against another in order to advance their own political goals of utopia. You hear many liberals, like President Obama, championing that the wealthy need to pay their “fair share” because they gain from the work of others. Central to the psyche of Liberal thought is the belief that more government is needed to distribute wealth so as to reach economic equality. But what that accomplishes is the creation a nanny-state where people are entirely dependent on the government that they cannot possibly survive on their own.
That utopian goal has done wonders for America’s model city, Detroit, right? Wrong. People would whole-heartedly sell their freedoms to achieve a false sense of security, and in the void of liberty, a more totalitarian government follows. This warning is not some crack-pot conspiracy theory: the same thing occurred in 1900’s Russia, where some disillusioned Bolsheviks overthrew the Russian Republic to form the now infamous (and nonexistent) USSR. What started out as a socialist victory quickly turned into a totalitarian state headed by a dictator.
But I digress. What really troubled me was the negative ad targeted at Mitt Romney during his stint at Bain Capital. It depicts how countless people lost their jobs due to Bain’s ‘heinous’ actions, but alas there is a side of the story that many do not know: how the increased competition and lower price of Chinese steel manufacturers would have resulted in the closing down of the US steel mills REGARDLESS of the intervention of Bain Capital, and how the multitudinous of pensions, charities, and personal investments greatly benefitted from these actions. But of course mainstream media wouldn’t talk about this story because they’re more worried about how Mitt Romney spends his own money rather than how Obama spends ours.

There is increased division in the nation differing entirely from when President Obama famously said, “There is not a liberal America and a conservative America – there is the United States of America. There is not a black America and a white America and Latino America and Asian America – there’s the United States of America.” It is my personal belief that this is how America should be, but Obama’s rhetoric compared to his actions tells a completely different story, one of a man trying to divide America.

For the first time in American history the word “profit” is becoming a pejorative, largely due to the ever-increasing animosity of the American people against the fat-cat Wall-Street Executives and the lavish lifestyles of the Rich. But how did this deep division arise in in the Union were even our seal boldly states “E Puluribus unum” (“Out of many, one”)?

When Sheeple can use Photoshop

The advent of technology has made the lives of humans both easy and difficult; the latter arises from the reality-altering tool known as Photoshop. But why am I talking about Photoshop now? I recently found a picture pervading the inter-webs that showed that Mitt Romney’s “Believe in America” pins were actually created by our debt-swallowing/currency manipulating “friends” in the People’s Republic of China.

From first glance I knew that the image was Photoshopped, for the pins seemed to float on top of the layer of the hand, and more researching has further corroborated my assertion that these pictures are falsely manipulated fictions of “art” – the use of which is to negatively paint Mitt Romney, as an un-American businessman unsympathetic to the cause of American employment.

And as you know, sheeple tend to congregate on this “shocking” allegation to show their support/increase their support of the Democratic Party; the only party that’s “not morally bankrupted” by the evil clutches of Business. Nonetheless it is not my goal to force you the reader to just accept my assertion, I want you on your own to view the picture below however you want to, but do know this: “The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is”.

Liberal Media on Trayvon Martin

By now everyone has learned about the death of Trayvon Martin, an African American teenager from Florida who was shot by George Zimmerman, due to his suspicious behavior. The altercation that led up to the Trayvon’s death is still under investigation; however this does not stop the main-stream media from spinning this tragic event in order to propagate their own agenda. From observing the media coverage of this situation a common motif arises, one that inherently racial. The Mainstream media is repeatedly trying to make Trayvon’s death seem like a “hate-crime”, because their true intension is to divide the nation on the basis of Black and White. A recent investigation of NBC’s  911 Zimmerman audio tape has led to the startling discovery that the tape was altered in order to portray Zimmerman as a racist. Furthermore, evidence has arisen that other media outlets, like ABC, have altered evidence to suggest that Zimmerman did not sustain any injuries. By increasing racial tensions the liberal media is hoping to “stimulate” the African American voter base that helped to elect President Obama. Although, this is conjecture at this point it should be noted that statistically, African American approval of the president has decreased significantly since his inauguration. Thus remains the question can we truly trust the reporters, newscasters, and journalists that supply us with news?

Response to “Why I Support Obama”

1)     Millions will lose their current employer-based insurance equating to 88.1 more million people on Obamacare. The Federal regulations created by this program although idyllic cannot be sustainable by Private Healthcare providers, resulting in more health-care company failures and more unemployed Americans (healthcare spending is 16% of GDP) and overall less choice in healthcare.  The mandate would result in higher taxes for business (Large and Small), which may prove disastrous to a recession laden economy. In fact many European Nations, of which President Obama modeled his healthcare policy, have an effective tax rate of 52%. This may explain why these nations face increasing deficits, social unrest, and little economic vitality. Moreover, the government would effectively choose the treatment for YOU, as President Obama says: “They’re going to have to give up paying for things that don’t make them healthier. … If there’s a blue pill and a red pill, and the blue pill is half the price of the red pill and works just as well, why not pay half for the thing that’s going to make you well.” Well what if the blue pill presents more side effects or is not as tested in the real-world; do you really want the government choosing the cheaper option for YOU when it comes to YOUR health? Not only would Obamacare increase the deficit, it would lead to the rationing of healthcare. When more people are in one system, it is not fiscally possible to provide the best for everyone; this is the reason why many people from other countries travel to the U.S. for medical care. Finally this bill in many people’s eyes has been rushed to the point where the former Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, egged on her colleagues to pass the 1,990 page bill before they actually read it. I believe healthcare can be expanded by instating Tort reform, allowing Doctors to do less unnecessary tests (because of the fear of being sued), expanding the state-only policy constraints of Health care companies, making costs transparent, equalizing the tax laws for individual healthcare and employer-based care ( employer-based care is tax-deductible). There is no need for a highly intrusive Governmental policy for healthcare. It is also amusing to find out that unions, senators, representatives, and the president are exempt from the policy. I wonder why…

2)     Now the region is more chaotic than ever. But I didn’t believe in the war effort to begin with.

3)     There is no clear definition of what is preventative, for example is cholesterol medication is a preventative factor for congestive heart failure. I believe it should be clearly defined. I believe that healthcare should be more accessible to women.

4)     I believe in equality but this bill is atrociously favoring the employees who could garner unlimited compensatory back pay and punitive damages. This is a boon for lawyers and more government involvement within business.

5)     Yup, all the failed Green energy companies like Solyndra(received $535 million in loans and $25.1 million in tax breaks), Beacon Power($43 million in loans), Ener1, received a $118 million grant.  Its only the American tax-payer that losses their money.

6)     This is good. I believe that less governmental funding should go to colleges that sit on tremendous endowments ( UVA, Harvard, etc.). The only reason they raise tuition rates is because they want to get as much money as possible, from both the government and students. Thus an aggressive approach must be taken in order to stop exorbitant tuition fees.

7)     Could you please quantitatively describe what is fair? The top 5 percent pay well over half of all income taxes, and nearly half of all American don’t pay income tax. Thus it is a frivolous approach to keep demanding “fair” without knowing the actual system.

8)     I don’t understand how the president could add 2.6 million PRIVATE sector jobs, only the private sector (or “Evil” corporations) can add jobs. Moreover the economy is not improving, there is even more people who are not working in America, and become more dependent on the government for their own livelihood.

Why I don’t support Newt Gingrich.

The top contender for the office of the President of the United States is not without any problems. From his moral bankruptcy to his hypocrisy, Newt Gingrich is a political contender with a myriad of issues.

Newt Gingrich (Republican) served as the 58th speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives from 1995-1999, during which he represented Georgia’s 6th congressional district. During this time period he was charged with eighty-four counts of ethics violations, including a tax exemption for collegiate education summing to a total of $300,000 dollars. Gingrich however through his many modes of “suggestion” was able to get out of the quandary Scot-free. His numerous affairs and failed marriages also bring up an issue of morality.

Newt’s Flip-flops!

Cap and Trade

“I think if you have mandatory carbon caps combined with a trading system, much like we did with sulfur, and if you have a tax-incentive program for investing in the solutions, that there’s a package there that’s very, very good. And frankly, it’s something I would strongly support.”

— Gingrich, PBS’s “Frontline”, Feb. 15, 2007

“I’ve said publicly, sitting on the couch with Nancy Pelosi is the dumbest single thing I’ve done in the last few years. But if you notice, I’ve never favored cap and trade, and in fact, I actively testified against it. I was at the U.S. House Energy and Commerce Committee the same day Al Gore was there to testify for it, I testified against it and through American Solutions we fought it in the Senate and played a major role in defeating it.”

— Gingrich, Dec. 3, 2011

He flip-flops from supporting the horrendous piece of legislation to denouncing it (Cap and Trade)

Immigration

During the debate (Nov. 9, 2011) he mentions ““If you’ve been here 25 years and you’ve got three kids and two grandkids, you’ve been paying taxes and obeying the law, you belong to a local church,” he said, “I don’t think we’re going to separate you from your family, uproot you forcefully and kick you out.” After this statement he was immediately attacked by the other candidates for supporting Amnesty for illegal aliens. In a later public appearance in Naples, Florida he remarks ,” I am not for amnesty for anyone. I am not for a path to citizenship for anybody who got here illegally…I would have very, very stiff economic penalties for anyone who hires somebody who is not legally inside the system. I would be very tough.” He has however in the past has voted for amnesty during his time in Congress the 80’s and 90’s specifically.

Although, the GOP is content with having Newt Gingrich as a viable candidate. I believe that his lack of morals and his hypocritical nature goes against the true principle of conservatism. Would you really want a morally-deprived person to run the United States of America?

Who really influences Washington?

Is it Big Pharma, Big Oil, EVIL Corporations, or all of the above? The correct answer, although it may prove to be shocking to many Democrats, is BIG UNIONS. These “workers’ rights” advocates play a pivotal role in influencing the political landscape in the United States of America; moreover they are by far the most partisan special interest group which solely donates to their puppets, democrats. In fact in the “All-Time Donors list from 1989-2012 in OpenSecrets.org (a bipartisan think-thank), denotes that the Major unions like the SEIU, Laborers Union, American Federation of Teachers, UAW, Teamsters Union, National Education Association, and others are in the top 20 of the list, whereas the Corporations place lower in the list and remain “on the fence” with their political views. In fact, Big Oil, the common scapegoat of the Democrats, placed 73rd (EXXON). This disparity in truth is something that the mainstream media ignores and that the Democrats denounce. Thus begins our arduous journey to enlighten the misinformed.

The Hypocrisy of the Democratic Party

It is true that the Democratic Party has a tremendous hold in America’s news media; from CNN (Clinton Network News) to their subservient peacocks, NBC and its sister company MSNBC. These “News” corporations fail to fully address the total political landscape that also includes their masters, Democrats.  Moreover, the Democratic Party often gets a “get out of jail pass” as seen in: Congressman Charlie Rangel, Eric Holder (the Attorney General of the U.S.), and Timothy Geithner (U.S. Secretary of Treasury) just to name a few. This lax policy towards Democrats is not just found in tax evasion, perjury, extortion of public funds; there is an every-growing social bias among the Democratic sheeple against Republicans, while they continue to ignore the problems of their own party.

Tax Evasion, Extortion, and Miscellaneous

Charlie Rangel, the current U.S. Representative (democrat) for New York’s 15th congressional district, was found guilty of 11 ethics violations. The former Ways and Means Committee head did not pay taxes on his luxurious rental Villa at the Punta Cana Yacht Club in the Dominican Republic.  During the 2004-2005 tax period, he only played about $5,000 dollars on his property, and by 2006-2007 he neglected to pay taxes. The investigation revealed that he received $75,000 in income from the property and blamed others including his wife, for his maleficence.

The story does not just end there; Charlie Rangel wanted to hide his income because he was the tenant of four rent-stabilized buildings in Harlem. If he was able to “artificially” show that his income was less than $175,000, he would be able to make them rent-stabilized (via Governmental subsidies). Mr. Rangel also has a property in the District of Columbia, which is tax exempt because of the Homestead exemption, which allows legislators to not pay taxes on their property if it is their PRIMARY residence. However, in the case of Mr. Rangel, it was not his primary residence and thus he fraudulently gets an exemption!  Although being a key proponent in more taxation, Mr. Rangel fails to pay his own taxes, moreover he was only censured by the House of Representatives, and still remains under the employ of the government.

Another example of fraud is Sen. Claire McCaskill, a Missouri democrat who much like her peers does not pay taxes. She has to pay back $300,000 due to four years of back taxes. The senator also used $76,000 in tax payer money to fund trips via her aircraft. The aircraft and the cost of use (pilots, flight attendants, food, etc.) cost the taxpayer almost $400,000 dollars. Mrs. McCaskill also went out of her way to avoid paying personal property tax on her plane and cars (she registered them in Illinois). Her unaccountability to pay her taxes has resulted in lower funding for schools.  Although, Sen. Claire McCaskill has promised to reimburse the tax payer she faced virtually no reprimands for her actions.

Eric Holder, the Att. Gen. of the U.S. (democrat), failed to pay property tax on his mother’s home in Queens. Although the amount due  was only about $4,000 dollars, his unawareness for the LAW is appalling. As the AG of the United States it is paramount to know all laws, be it complex or fundamental. Eric Holder also helped to orchestrate the infamous “Fast and Furious” gun-running operation, which led to the deaths of 200 Mexicans and gave 2,000 semi-automatic weapons to the Drug Cartels. The primarily reason behind this whole operation was to blame the gun dealers of the U.S. as the culprits in fuelling the violence in Mexico. Thus, the Democratic administration will try to impose heavy regulations against the purchase of guns. And we all know what happens when the citizens cannot bear arms, just look at what happened to Britain (London riots). Furthermore, after the allegations were found to be true, he committed perjury and “claimed” to have been unaware of the program’s existence. This lying cretin is still in his governmental position as the AG.

Lastly, we arrive at the doors of the U.S. Treasury, which is headed by Timothy Geithner, you know; the guy who said that the U.S. was not going to be downgraded. This 47 year old failed to pay his taxes during his employment in the International Monetary Fund for four years (2001-2004). The amount totaled up to $50,000 dollars including the interest he owes, albeit this amount is miniscule, as the Secretary of the Treasury it important to at least pay your taxes.

It is understandable that many people will say, “both Democrats and Republicans participate in corruption”, to which I would agree; however there is a real double standard in how Democrats are treated better than their Republican counterparts. There are many examples of this, but the recent allegations of Herman Cain’s sexual misconduct mirror that of the allegations of John Edwards, a former Senator from North Carolina and Democratic Party presidential candidate. John Edwards was found out to have had an extramarital affair with his film producer, Rielle Hunter; thus to prevent the story from leaking he misappropriated public funds to cover-up his affair ($100,000). This whole affair debacle only surfaced a year later in 2008, when Edwards started to campaign for presidency, whereas the allegations of sexual misconduct have been rapidly picked up by the mainstream media in the case of Herman Cain. I am appalled by the journalists and news anchors of certain “News” corporations in their inability to portray the news in a way that is both fair and balanced. Thus, it is up to the civilians to educate and spread news to everybody be it Democrats or Republicans.

Charlie Rangel

At least he’s not in Washington anymore…

The Crusade against Ignorance

Hello,

You peer at your monitor to wonder who this Reppundit person is? Well I am a person with strong conservative values, who seeks to fight against the liberal surge. Hopefully, my posts both compel and enlighten you!
We live in dark times my friends, a time
where Liberal goons control the fate of this great nation. Their lack of competence spurs racially insinuated comments at us, fellow Conservatives. We will be called “Racist”, “Nazi”, and other derogatory words (not appropriate for this blog). However, we must not cede our beliefs in the face of adversity. The bigots and demagogues do not see our strength, our ability to withstand their impish attacks, nor our ability to enlighten the misguided. We will destroy the Liberal cancer and restore America to its former glory.

WE WILL BE HEARD!
